How did you deal with the fluctuations between weighing yourself at different times of the day? For instance, I lost 3 pound between going to sleep and waking up but my weight might go up again at the end of the day. What is that? What weight is accurate? Did you weigh yourself at a consistent time?
I weighed myself only once a day, and always at the same time under the same conditions (first thing in the morning after using the bathroom). Otherwise, like you have noticed, your weight fluctuates too much, probably from the food and drink you consume.
I recommend the same. If you’re weighing yourself more than that, you might be “obsessing” a little, which can lead to other habits which are somewhat unhealthy :/
Also, I recommend making a graph of your progress. It reminds you of your long-term progress and helps you avoid fixating on a pound here or a pound there.
I hope this helps! <3
Hi! First of all, your book was *so* inspiring. I still reread parts of it like everyday. Thank you so much for writing it! :) I was wondering if you could describe in more detail the 7 day challenge you talked about in the book?
And, ugh, here is a link to that “challenge” which I thought had been deleted from tumblr history(impossible!): http://hipbonespls.tumblr.com/post/1216284509/sweetthinspiration-this-is-my-new-7-day
Because you’ve read my story, please don’t think that this is a valid way to become healthy … as you know, that requires healthful choices for life.
But please feel free to ask me anything else, and congrats for taking those steps to become the healthiest you ever! <3
