Hey! I'm starting college this fall and I want to be skinny. I always struggle with eating less because I try to plan my calories for the day but it's either too much or too little. I'm thinking of starting slimfast. Two shakes a day (breakfast & lunch) three 100 cal snacks (fruits and veggies) and one 500 calorie meal (lean protein, good carbs and veggies). Total is around 1200 calories. Is this a good idea for me. I'm 5'6" around 164 lbs. exercise everyday. Jump rope, Aerobics, Pilates, Etc.
I think the value in Slimfast and other similar routines is not in the temporary weight loss they give you but in the realization that you CAN have victory over your uncooperative body if you just pay attention to your intake. I lost a ton of weight and literally transformed who I am without resorting to anyone else’s “weight loss program”. All I did was cut off my formerly excessive diet and embrace a new, healthful lifestyle.
I mean, it really sucked at times, and it was really hard at first, but then it became easy. Why did it change?
It was I who changed.
Girl you are the most inspiring tumblr there is! I don't even read any others honestly lol I was wondering what you do for exercise? Maybe it is posted somewhere and Im sure its been asked before so I apologize... Also, Does the body truly get used to eating less? I hate that starving feeling sometimes, but if I've had a nice breakfast of greek yogurt and fruit for ~300 calories, its just my stomach being a whiny b!tch lol Thanks so much girly and you look amazing!! <3

Anyhooo….My exercise these days is only ever jogging or cycling. I no longer have access to a swimming pool, so out onto the pavement I go. But that’s just what I can fit into my lifestyle. If you find something else that works better for you … DO ITTTTT!
And YES, the body truly gets used to eating less, so long as it was formerly eating too much. Seriously, once I developed good habits, it literally ceased to be hard anymore, and it actually felt normal.
